glad to see you've all been busy making and posting.
i'll probably upload some more stuff within the next few days(if the clouds will stop with the dark wetness long enough for me to take some photos).
most of what I will have to show is relatively old, but hopefully there'll be some new stuff coming. I mean, I am at art school. Surely there will be some cause for me to make something that I think people might want to see...
if only dev art had video, I could show some of my performances... or video work. it's thrilling stuff.
honest.
I mean, you spend a year producing a video thats less than a second long and it's got to be good right?
right?
*sigh*
I kinda jest. it was a great project, but I think you had to be there to understand(I perfected a blink, managed to get mine to go at exactly the same speed as some girl who moved overseas. The teachers didn't seem to impressed when at the end of the year I handed in a dvd with less than a second of footage. Still pretty stoked that I did it. it's amazing how little the mark reflects how interested the teachers were up until that point, but I digress) and to get the full impact of that year.
but that's all past now! I'm back!
and ready for attention, or whatever you want to throw my way.
so now that I have you all on the edge of your seats waiting for me to post some work, I will leave you. Maybe you will hear from me soon. or maybe I'll spend yet another year making masochistic, narcissistic performance art that barely anyone will ever see and end up even more hugely self involved and slightly madder than I am now.
btw, I have found many photo's of me performing in a more widely accepted manner. dressed in a suit/girls clothes and rolling around on the silks or having small women stand on my shoulders/large men jump on my back... really just a bit of a carnie at heart.

keep on making awesome stuff, though i know you will!

"Terror is as much a part of the concept of truth as runniness is of the concept of jam. We wouldn't like jam if it didn't, by its very nature, ooze. We wouldn't like truth if it wasn't sticky, if, from time to time, it didn't ooze blood." -Baudrillard
